Since 2005, the Northern Rivers Community Foundation has been responding to the changing needs of our community by connecting those who care with those in need.
A key part of our role is facilitating charitable giving and the efficient distribution of funds across our community. As such, one of the options we offer is the opportunity for donors to set up their own named sub fund to make a valuable and lasting contribution to their community.
This allows a person, family, business, organisation or group of contributors to create substantial ongoing impact within their local community, allowing them to identify and support a particular interest with a financial commitment.
Solid Ground is the most recent sub fund opened with NRCF. It aspires to assist young people and their families to engage in creative arts, outdoor pursuits and other activities that will keep them engaged and with a sense of belonging that will contribute to a stronger future. This sub fund is not only helping to support worthy and needy projects now, but it is also building a sustainable legacy for the future of our Northern Rivers young people, families and community.
Setting up a named sub fund is a simple option for an individual or family who want to give in perpetuity without the cost and legal requirements of setting up a Private Ancillary Fund or Family Foundation. Donations can be made at any time and many people can contribute.
A named sub-fund gives you the chance to provide community assistance at a grassroots and personal level. It is an effective way of supporting your area of interest, charitable cause or to commemorate a special someone.
Our vast community knowledge ensures we are connected to the community and use our experience in grant making and social impact research to help you identify the right projects for maximum impact. We match your interest with the needs of the community.
