As a not-for-profit organisation, NRCF relies on the generous support of volunteers both year-round in the office and on the Board, and during the year for our public and private events. We are always on the look out for motivated people who are passionate about giving back to our community. You could have a special skill or capability, or you just feel you want to help.
We have three volunteer programs here at NRCF.
Our Event Volunteers work with NRCF’s Fundraising Committee to deliver our public and private events throughout the year. It’s a great way to get actively involved with the NRCF community, supporting donors, grant recipients and the NRCF team. If you are a people person, and like working in teams, this is a job for you!
Year-round office volunteers
Our Office Volunteers provide assistance in the office, supporting us in the areas of marketing, donor relations, grantmaking and administration.
Associate Director Program
NRCF Associate Directors have professional expertise in a specific field, such as law, accounting, finance & investment, marketing, fundraising, governance, philanthropy, operations & grantmaking. They take an observer role at Board meetings, and an active role in one of our working Committees.
We believe in building strengths and capacity of our local people. If you are a skilled professional who does not have previous experience on a not for profit Board, but would like to, then this is the Volunteer Program for you!

We are pleased to accept a range of items that can be transferred into funds after sale — everything from art, superior wines and property. We can also auction items at one of our events. Let us know if you can help.
Become a partner
It’s important to us that partners feel they have a stake in supporting initiatives and activities. We work with a range of partners in the region and from around the country who have chosen NRCF as their charity of choice, because we have the experience and programs to deliver impacts across the region — organisations like Haines family’s Portland House Foundation, The James Frizelle Charitable Foundation, and the Myer family’s Yulgilbar Foundation.
