Animal welfare, environment and conservation funds

Projects that conserve and restore natural ecosystems, protect threatened and native species, improve animal welfare or protect the environment against degradation and pollution.

We are utterly spoiled to live here on Bundjalung Country in the Northern Rivers. You can help our incredible wildlife, land and ecosystems to thrive by donating to one of our environmental funds. These projects span everything from restoration of our river banks through to wildlife care for our endangered native wildlife.

Widening The Riparian Zone Along Upper Tucki Creek

The NRCF grant received by the Goonellabah Tucki Creek Landcare Group was used to great effect in the planting of over 3000 native plants along Upper Tucki Tucki Creek. Multiple sites have been revegetated / regenerated and these areas will in time form part of a diverse urban rainforest corridor that will vastly improve the health of the creek. This has been achieved through bringing together a wonderful group of community volunteers, including families, elderly, those with disabilities and school children.
