Join us to create change through collective giving

Four women socialise at an event to fundraise for empowering women and girls. They look relaxed standing together and smiling. Are you passionate about supporting local women and girls to thrive in the Northern Rivers? Do you believe collective power can make real change?

We do - and we're making it happen! The NRCF's Women's Giving Circle is passionate local women who are taking action to tackle disadvantage.

We welcome passionate, local women who want to be a part of a social, likeminded Giving Circle. Our membership is fully tax-deductible, we offer a subscription model, and our events are inspiring!

2024 – CALENDAR OF EVENTS

The 2024 Empowering Women and Girls Grant Round is run annually, with applications accepted from organisations whose projects support or empower women and girls in the Northern Rivers. Our WGC Grants Committee shortlists two finalists.

On Pitch Night, our two finalists pitch their projects to our Women's Giving Circle members, with members voting to award the Empowering Women and Girls Grant.

Our Women's Giving Circle meets for Quarterly Socials, including an end of year Christmas Garden Drink at NRCF's headquarters in Clunes. We also meet to hear the project pitches, vote and award the Empowering Women and Girls Grant annually, each Spring.

We are dedicated to taking concrete actions, in our region of the Northern Rivers, as appropriate in line with G7 Guiding Principles.

We are determined to achieve gender equality and human rights for women and girls, and to enable women and girls to realise their full potential to (i) actively engage in society and to take control of their own destiny, (ii) contribute to and benefit from sustainable, inclusive and equitable economic growth and quality of life at home, in the community, and in all spheres of society and (iii) fully and effectively participate in all phases of the peacebuilding continuum from conflict prevention to resolution and ultimately reconciliation.
