Joanna Palser

Relevant Experience:

Joanna brings to the NRCF Board over 35 years in education and executive roles, a passion for social justice and making our communities more inclusive. From shaping organisational reforms to strategic planning, Jo’s journey spans pivotal roles at TAFE NSW and as a project manager aiding the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission in response to the Royal Commission. Her volunteer contributions include roles at the Bangalow Country Women’s Association, Heartfelt House Wollongbar as Chair, and active involvement with Byron Community College.

Why I joined:

The importance of community and connection has never been more vital. The NRCF supports micro projects in communities that typically wouldn’t get a look in for government grants. These projects have an impact beyond the dollars invested. I love that! Harnessing donor generosity for local social change and innovation gives us all a reason to be hopeful. I want to use my skills to be part of that.

What I do:

Secretary of the Board, Member of the Governance Committee and Member of the Finance and Audit Committee.
