Come to The Rescue

Wednesday May 1, Seven Mile Brewery, 6pm

The destruction of habitat for road development and new residences has created a crisis in wildlife emergency care. Many animals are in desperate need of help.

There is an urgent need for such a hospital. Currumbin Wildlife Hospital does an amazing job but the local wildlife care groups recognise we really need something closer. Studies indicate that Currumbin Wildlife Hospital already take in over 9000 animals per year, many of which come from the Northern Rivers. The stress of getting them there and driving over 60 minutes takes its toll on sick animals.

May 1 is a public event, and an opportunity for the community to meet the team behind the new Wildlife Hospital and get an update on its progress. Please RSVP to Tania events@nrwh.org.au or 0420833479.
