The Northern Rivers Disaster Relief Fund is a rapid response fund that gets support to the communities in our region that need it most during and after a natural disaster.

Tropical Cyclone Alfred has impacted many communities that were still feeling the after-effects of the devasting 2022 floods. Its destructive winds and rainfall have impacted many of our towns and villages and battered the coastline our region is famous for.

As we saw during the floods, local communities are best placed to know what they need and community-led grassroots initiatives are often the most effective.

Your donation provides immediate and short-term relief to the communities, people and wildlife that have been most affected.

All donations of $2 or more are fully tax-deductible. Your automatic receipt will be sent by email.

For more than 20 years, the Northern Rivers Community Foundation has been providing support to communities across the seven LGAs that make up the Northern Rivers, from Tweed Heads to Grafton, Kyogle to Byron Bay. In that time, we have distributed more than $10 million to help our communities create positive change.
