We are currently seeking support to help our Northern Rivers communities recover from the devastating floods of March 2022.
Donations to the Resilience and Regeneration Fund help community organisations work in the early, medium and long term recovery phases, following the emergency relief effort. This is the time when some systems are in place, people are no longer worried about survival, and can turn to rebuilding their lives.
NRCF has spearheaded a research team to find out exactly what is needed by those on the ground, as we prepare to enter the medium to long term recovery phase.
Your donation will support local community organisations who are well placed to provide support. They have connections with community, access to resources and knowledge of the needs.
Established in early 2020, in response to the devastating bushfires, the Resilience and Regeneration Fund raised and distributed more than $230,000 in grants in 2020 to support local community groups in their response to the global pandemic and 2019/20 bushfires.
In 2022 this fund will again be used to support the community in the wake of the 2022 flooding events.
