NRCF GRANT:$6,379.60 – Electrical fit-out of toilet and shower facility for disabled riders and able-bodied carers and volunteers.

The Riding for the Disabled centre in Tweed caters for riders and volunteers, yet didn’t have adequate basic sanitation services. The grant NRCF provided enabled a full electrical fit out of anew toilet and shower facility

Danni Barnes, Secretary explains a little more: “The shower is able to be used by disabled riders when “accidents” occur, as well as for volunteers who have been dealing with sick horses or picking up manure. Obviously we needed to be hygienically compliant and provide a safe venue for our riders and volunteers.”
