FRRR Voucher

Grandcarers are one of the more unrecognosed carers in our community, often supporting and caring for their  grandchildren in the absence of parents.

Many grandcarers are struggling to get by these days, dealing with the spiralling cost of living and trying to make ends meet on a low fixed income. This is quite apart from the physical demands of raising children at an older age.

NRCF is partnering again with FRRR in 2022 to deliver the ‘Back to School’ program for Northern Rivers grandcarers in need – providing a $50 voucher to each child in their care, to help pay for essential school items like shoes, clothing, school bags and lunchboxes.
