A big thank you to Northern NSW Chapter Harley Owners Group (NNSWHOG), who presented a cheque for $2,500 to our NRCF CEO Emily Berry at their recent AGM, representing funds raised by the Group in 2020.
The NNSWHOG Chapter, which has members spread across the Northern Rivers from Tweed Heads to Yamba, across to Casino and Kyogle, have been raising funds on behalf of NRCF for the last two years, totaling $4,000. These funds will be used to establish a new Northern NSW HOG Chapter Sub Fund with the NRCF in 2021.
“The Chapter chose to donate to NRCF to keep the funds in our backyard,” said Garry Payne, Director NNSWHOG.
“The Chapter members are from a diverse background all with different ideas of how and who we should be supporting yet still staying local. NRCF tick a lot of our requirements,” he said.
To continue their fundraising efforts, NNSWHOG are currently preparing for their Annual Dice Run and are excited to extend an invitation to our NRCF network. To be held Sunday 2nd May, meeting at 126 Woodlark St in Lismore, this will be a fabulous day of fun, friendship and fundraising for the NRCF.
You don’t need a Harley to get involved! All bikes are welcome to participate in this open charity ride. And if you don’t have a bike but still want to be part of the action, there are several ways to get involved.
You can ride ‘two-up’ with one of the HOG members provided you organise this in advance and make a donation of your choice. There are limited places so book in soon! You can also ‘two -up’ and register for the Dice Rolling. There will be a Lucky Door Prize, 100’s Club and raffle running on the day, with four stops to ‘Roll the Dice’. Prizes are awarded to registered participants that roll the highest combined score and lowest combined score.
Or you may choose to just go to the meeting point, buy a coffee or purchase a breakfast ticket and look at some great bikes.
Whatever takes your fancy, join in the camaraderie, and enjoy the free entertainment, all in the knowledge that your donations are going to a great cause.
Registrations close 30 April 2021. Visit their website for more information and to register.
