The NRCF is proud to launch its One Year On fundraising appeal, to support our beautiful region in long-term recovery following the flooding events of 2022.
As our second flood report highlighted, the recovery rate within our region of not-for-profits working on the front line, as well as the community recovery rate, is alarmingly slow.
We know our community organisations are facing a funding cliff as much of the disaster funding will finish in August 2023.
NRCF is appealing to those who would like to be a part of the support story to consider making a donation towards recovery and resilience for the long-term rebuilding, mitigation and prevention needed to return our region to the thriving community it was pre-disaster.
Your donation will support programs our communities need – which can include anything from mental health, right through to rebuilding kitchens of key community centre hubs or revegetation of our landscapes. All funding will be awarded through the NRCF’s evidence-based grant making, using research such as our four-year longitudinal flood study to inform where, when and what our community needs.
Thanks for being part of our collective action. Your support really does change lives.
